Mia feels so lucky to have Sophie as her Maid of Honor - and sister! Sophie and Mia have always been close. Despite being the younger sister, Sophie has taught Mia so much about living a life based in compassion, joy, and personal growth. Mia and Sophie always have fun together, whether they're getting brunch, doing yoga, or going for a hike.

Chuck is not only the Best Man but also the best dad to Phil. Chuck has been a role-model in Phil's life demonstrating hard work ethic, strong self-reliance and ingenuity, and offering his never ending help and guidance. Phil's enjoyed working on projects with Chuck including building their family log home, planting an orchard, cider making, and mushroom hunting.

Chelsea is the one who introduced Mia and Phil! Chelsea and Mia met in college at UW-La Crosse, where they were roommates and worked together as waitresses. Mia still doesn't know what she's done to deserve such an incredible friend in her life. Chelsea's wit is only matched by her overflowing charm and creativity.

Nick and Phil met through Max (other groomsman) while attending college at UW-La Crosse together in 2010. Nick quickly became one of Phil's most trusted friends, enjoying activities together like hiking the bluffs of La Crosse, canoeing the rivers of Wisconsin together with Mia and Nick's wife, Chelsea, and spending countless weekends group camping together around the state.

Ashleigh and Mia met in high school and this friendship forever changed the course of Mia's life for the better. Over the years, Ashleigh and Mia have enjoyed countless concerts, camping trips, and general shenanagins. Mia values Ashleigh's empathetic nature, independent spirit, and ability to see the best in people.

Phil met Al through a mutual friend in 2010 while living in La Crosse, and he grew to be one of Phil's best friends. Phil and Al bonded over hiking together in the woods and prairies of Wisconsin, encountering a tornado together while at Phil's house in La Crosse, going to comedy shows together around Wisconsin and Minnesota, and sharing a deep love and interest in nature.

Like most people who know Keni, Mia's life got exponentially brighter the day Keni came into her life. Keni and Mia met in college at UW-La Crosse and were roommates for two fun years. Hilarious, passionate, kind, and way cooler than Mia could ever be, Mia still feels like she won the friendship lottery with Keni.

Aaron and Phil met through a mutual friend in 2007 while living in La Crosse. Aaron became one of Phil's best friends, spending lots of time together hiking the expansive marshes and bluffs of La Crosse, helping each other learn about hunting wild mushrooms, and spending countless hours talking the future of cryptocurrency.

Sarah and Mia became instant friends during their sophomore year of college at UW-La Crosse and were roommates for three years. Mia has always loved Sarah's bubbly spirit and great sense of humor, but it's Sarah's huge heart that sets her apart as a truly incredible person and someone Mia wants in her life forever.

Phil met Max when assigned random roommates in the dorms in his first year at UW-La Crosse in 2005, and he quickly became Phil's closest friend. Phil was honored to have served as officiant for Max's wedding to his wife Vanessa. The three of them have enjoyed many concerts together and hiked many 13000-14000 ft summits of the Eastern Colorado Rockies.

Kai is Sophie & Blake's son, and Mia's favorite nephew. He is just as sweet and smart as he is cute! Kai is 2yrs old and loves dinosaurs and swimming.

Marina is Sophie & Blake's daughter, and Mia's goddaughter and favorite niece. Cheerful and silly, Marina lights up every space she's in. At 1yr old, it's already clear this little lady's going places!

Phil feels so lucky to have Janice as his mother. As an only child herself, Janice and Phil share personality traits like strong-mindedness, independence, and a strong attention to detail. Janice was more than a mother to Phil growing up, she was his friend, treasure map-maker, patent writer for his wrestling moves, and would help with anything he ever wanted to do. Janice inspired Phil's love of animals and baseball, and his belief that The Beatles are the greatest band of all time!

Mia feels so blessed to have her mom in her life. Ana raised her kids in a loving home, always giving them her all, supporting them, and teaching kindness at every turn. As Mia became an adult, their relationship turned into more of a friendship. Mia loves spending time with her mom, whether it's a vacation to Mexico or just a trip to the "boutique", it's always a fun, special time.

Terry is a remarkable man and an even more remarkable father. Terry taught Mia the importance of family, living life to the fullest, and not being afraid to go after your dreams. He has always been there for his kids and ensured they know how much he loves them. Mia got her passion for traveling, art, and good food from her dad, who never dismissed his kids as too young to enjoy something or too young to have an opinion.

Jacob is more than Mia's big brother, he's her close friend and confidant. Jacob and Mia have been very close ever since they were little kids, Mia looked up to Jacob (still does!) and Jacob looked out for Mia (still does!). Mia loves Jacob's charismatic nature, sense of humor, clever mind, and appreciates how he has always been there for her.

In addition to being the officiant for Mia and Phil's wedding, Greg is Mia's uncle and godfather. Greg has played a steady, loving, and supportive role in Mia's life. Growing up, a highlight of Mia's summers was visiting Greg and his family in Indianapolis, swimming, visiting in the sunroom, walking/biking the Monon Trail, and watching/attending the Indy 500. When Phil came into the picture, Greg wasted no time in opening his home and heart to him too. Mia and Phil appreciate Greg's kindness and great sense of humor and are so happy he is part of their special day.
